ABOUT THE LUNCHEON
The Tech Impact Awards Luncheon is our region’s premiere technology-focused philanthropic event. It brings together a peerless audience of technology executives who are committed to sustaining and improving the lives of individuals in our community.
Last year, the Luncheon raised over $250,000 to help 100 at-risk young adults begin careers in technology through Tech Impact’s ITWorks programs. The Luncheon also supports the technology needs of hundreds of nonprofits through Tech Impact’s Nonprofit Technology Services.

ABOUT JANE MESECK
Jane Meseck is Sr. Director of Global Programs for Microsoft Philanthropies (@MSPhilanthropic), a new organization within the company focused on driving digital inclusion and empowerment around the world. Jane’s leads strategy, program and partnership development for Microsoft Philanthropies’ global initiatives of Technology for Good and Humanitarian Action. The Tech4Good program provides nonprofits worldwide with access to technology products, services and solutions to help nonprofits achieve their missions and accelerate their impact. Last year, Microsoft donated software and services donations to over 120,000 nonprofits globally totaling $922M. Microsoft’s commitment to Humanitarian Action supports emergency preparedness, response and recovery to create more resilient communities. We respond at time of sudden onset emergency and invest in long term programmatic efforts to rebuild communities impacted by both natural and man-made emergencies. Initial focus of this work is on supporting the refugee crisis in the Middle East and Europe.
Prior to joining Microsoft in 1997, Jane was a researcher and lecturer at the UW Daniel J. Evan’s School of Public Affair where she had earned a master’s degree in public administration. She holds two B.B.A.s from Texas A&M. Jane started her career as a management consultant, designing technology solutions for fortune 500 companies before transitioning her career to focus on nonprofits. Jane volunteers for a number of nonprofit organizations, including Seattle Humane Society, Global Washington, and Media Impact Funders. Jane lives in Seattle with her partner, Cathy, their 12-year-old gymnast son, Shay, and Xhiggy the rescued Catahoula.
