Event description

Description

The brokerage event will offer an opportunity to cities representatives to develop consortia and project ideas to respond to the Horizon 2020 Smart Cities and Communities 2017 call for proposals for lighthouse projects and to learn from the results of the previous round of smart cities applications.

Representatives from the European Commission (DG ENER, DG MOVE and DG CONNECT) will present the 2017 call for projects under Horizon 2020, the European Innovation Partnership for Smart cities and Communities and some lesson learnt from the previous round of applications. Representatives from the currently running smart cities projects and supporting actions will also be present to provide information on their activities and what made their projects successful.

During the event you are invited to present your project idea, which could contribute to proactive matchmaking between potential projects. Please note that as the number of presentations is limited and slots will be given on a first-come first-served basis.
If you wish to reserve a presentation slot, please send an email to Anja De Cunto (anja.decunto@eurocities.eu) to indicate your interest.

IMPORTANT!

Please note that this event is reserved to city representatives only. If your organisation cooperates with a city in the development of a proposal and would like to participate, please send an e-mail to Anja De Cunto at anja.decunto@eurocities.eu explaining your motivation in attending.

Due to the small amount of available places priority will be given to city officials with a maximum of two representatives per city. Before making any travel arrangements please wait for an e-mail of confirmation.
