2016 Residency Program Directors' Meeting

For nine years, the Illinois State Medical Society and the Chicago Medical Society have been bringing together residency program directors and other leaders in graduate medical education to hear from national experts in the field, discuss the latest trends and issues in GME, and network with one another.

At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Apply best practices for teaching residents about high-value cost-conscious care.
- Identify and implement recommendations for educating residents on what their future employers will expect from them in an ever-changing medical landscape.
- Analyze strategies on how to cultivate meaningful mentor relationships with medical residents.
The Illinois State Medical Society designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The Illinois State Medical Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
