The 2016 Philadelphia Screen Dance Festival

OPEN CALL for dance for camera works featuring dance/movement in any genre:
We are thrilled to present, in its first year, the Philadelphia Screendance Festival! This festival will take place over six days in the newly renovated Christ Church Neighborhood House Theater, a 110-seat black box theater in the Olde City section of Philadelphia.
– feature dance/movement as integral to the piece
– utilize the camera as a choreographic tool
– have an strongly engaging cinematic concept
– be between 3-12 min
(no "documentation" of performances, but something created specifically for this medium)
1. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by SEPTEMBER 18, 2015 with: An online link of your video (don't forget to include your password, if you have one!); your contact information;
2. Submit your application fee of $15.00 through this site.
If you are selected, you will receive a pass to the whole festival.
Unfortunately we can’t cover travel or accommodation expenses, but we would be happy to provide an official letter of invitation for you to seek travel grants.
