Please join us for an evening of fun, festivity, and historic film clips! Members and guests alike are welcome at Pejepscot Historical Society's 2016 Annual Meeting, to be held this year at Frontier Cafe & Cinema's theater, in historic Fort Andross.

Following a short business meeting open to members only, everyone is welcome to arrive. We'll enjoy socializing and networking, some of Frontier's fabulous finger foods, and wine and beer selections from a cash bar.

At 6PM, the evening's program begins with remarks from PHS Executive Director Larissa Vigue Picard and others, followed by a talk and slideshow of old film clips of the Pejepscot region and elsewhere in Maine by Brook Minner, Executive Director of Northeast Historic Film. Previously the Director of the Northeast Harbor Library, Brook is a historian and archivist at heart, and works to preserve local stories and primary source materials to make history engaging for all people of all ages and backgrounds. Brook is also on the steering committee for Main Street Bucksport, an organization working to revitalize the downtown since the closing of her paper mill in 2014.
