2016 Mental Health Cultural Competency Summit: Better Together – Culturally Mindful Practice
The 2016 UC Mental Health Cultural Competency Summit will provide a space for mental health practitioners to enhance their knowledge, skills, and abilities in providing culturally mindful mental health treatment to diverse students. We will share cutting edge strategies, successes, challenges, pitfalls, and solutions in our pursuit towards excellence. College and University mental health leadership and staff to include psychologists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, primary care physicians, social workers, marriage and family therapists, case managers, administrators, and pre/post-doctoral trainees are highly encouraged to attend.
The 2-day conference will include:

The 2016 UC Mental Health Cultural Competency Summit will be held at the beautiful Fairmont Newport Beach. A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at a negotiated rate of $155 per night. For attendees who are flying into Southern California, we recommend flying in/out of the John Wayne/Orange County Airport (SNA).
