The Legacy Summit on African American Student Leadership and the Miseducation of the Black Greek DRIVE-IN! Midwest Edition are teaming up to provide a unique leadership experience for students who aspire to go to the next level. The Legacy Summit is incorporating the Black Greek DRIVE-IN! Midwest Edition as a track for students who belong to Black Greek Letter Organizations (Divine Nine). Here are the details:

Legacy Summit on African American Student Leadership
As the next generation of great African American leaders, this Summit will challenge you to leave a legacy of excellence on your campus communities. The Legacy Summit will offer a series of interactive workshops and discussions where students will learn about self-branding, embracing culture, creating visibility and finding your voice on campus. There is also a #blacklivesmatter town hall meeting at the end of the conference that discusses social justice issues in the African-American community.
The Miseducation of the Black Greek DRIVE-IN! Midwest Edition
The Miseducation of the Black DRIVE-IN! is an affordable leadership experience for Black Greek undergraduate members and the campus based professionals who support them. This integrated and specialized educational programming track is
- An innovative and exciting one-day leadership experience
- Targeting unique challenges for D9 undergrad. members+campus based professionals
- Providing best practices, short/long term that focuses on how to improve and expand
UMKC students are FREE! (Eventbrite registration with Valid school ID)
Non-UMKC students registration starts at only $45!
- Admission to all interactive and engaging sessions
- Extensive conference hand-outs
- BREAKFAST: A continental breakfast (coffee, juice, bagels)
- LUNCH: A hot plated lunch (buffet style)
Note: Dinner, travel, airfare, ground transportation, hotel accomodations, and incidentals are not included.

TERMS and CONDITIONS
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds will be given only for cancellations received thirty (30) days before the beginning of this conference, less a $25 processing fee per person and any credit-card processing fees. No refunds of any kind will be made after this date. Students and/or advisors who register but do not attend the conference will pay the entire registration fee, but name changes to your list of registrants may be made at any time. The Harbor Institute will issue a full purchase-price credit for future conference attendance to any registrant unable to attend the event, provided the Harbor Institute is notified in writing 48 hours before the start of the scheduled event.
Force Majeure: Failure of Harbor Institute to perform any of the provisions of this Agreement by reason of any of the following shall not constitute an event of default or breach of this Agreement: strikes, picket lines, boycott efforts, fires, floods, accidents, war (whether or not declared), revolution, riots, insurrections, terrorism, acts of God, acts of government (including without limitation any agency or department of the United States of America), acts of the public enemy, scarcity or rationing of gasoline or other fuel or vital products, inability to obtain materials or labor, or other causes which are reasonably beyond the control of the defaulting Party.
