2016 Expanded Uniform Data System Training
The Uniform Data System (UDS) in-person training is a full day program covering the preparation of the 2016 UDS Report. The training addresses each of the report’s tables, including a discussion of the changes that have been made and the definitions necessary to complete the Report. The UDS training is aimed at those who are responsible for gathering and reporting the data elements included in the UDS Report, as well as management and clinical staff who need to understand the definitions and concepts used, and those who use the data in their program management and quality improvement activities. This portion of the training will be conducted by Mr. Art Stickgold.
In conjunction with this year’s UDS training being held on Friday, December 9, PIPCA is pleased to have organized two additional training days—Wednesday and Thursday, December 7-8. These two training days will focus on how the data being collected by the CHCs can be better used to make good management decisions to improve the quality of care. The training will emphasize using the data effectively—analysis and interpretation, quality improvement, performance management and strategic planning.
