Description

The City of South Lake Tahoe's Development Services Department invites you to attend the 2016 Building Energy Efficiency Standards on Friday, October 27th, 8:00am-12:00pm.

This course will provide an overview of the nonresidential, indoor and outdoor lighting requirements in the 2016 Energy Standards. All project types will be covered, including newly constructed buildings, additions, and alterations. Topics that will be addressed include lighting controls, acceptance testing, lighting power allowance, forms, and much more. Through this training, participants will be provided with the tools and knowledge necessary to comply with the 2016 Energy Standards.

BIO:

Daniel Wong is a licensed mechanical engineer with the Appliances and Outreach & Education office. He specializes in the lighting and electrical power distribution system requirements and helps develop training, tools, and resources to assist enforcement agencies verify compliance with the Energy Standards. Daniel has been working in energy efficiency for 6 years performing research, evaluation, implementation, and outreach activities.
