Featuring prominent experts from Rhode Island and around the country to discuss primary care in Rhode Island. Guest speakers will focus on: Cutting edge strategies to support you in practicing in a value-based environment.
Objectives: At the end of the session, attendees will be able to identify strategies the primary care team can use for:
Improving patient participation and empowerment through shared decision making and "choosing wisely";
Care management of pediatric and adult high risk populations; and
Using data to drive performance improvement
The agenda is designed to accommodate attendees work schedule and interests. The morning session has a Clinical Care focus; the afternoon session has a Performance Improvement focus. Attendees may chose to attend Morning only, Afternoon only, or Full Day. Non CTC-RI or TCPi Primary Care Practices may register for Afternoon only sessions.
All Primary Care team members from CTC-RI and TCPi Practices
are welcomed to attend the morning session, or afternoon session, or full day program.
We invite Practice Leadership, Providers, Nurse Care Managers, Practice Managers, Medical Assistants
and CTC-RI stakeholders to come learn as a team!

Lean Training: Participants registering for this program will be attending Part 1 and Part 2, which ends at 5PM
Excel Training: Participants registering for this program will be attending Part 1 and Part 2
For Excel Participants only:
- Session will be a Hands On training session
- Bring a fully-charged laptop
- Additional materials/files will be sent from RIQI in advance of session
- Survey will be sent to all who register to assess experience with Excel and determine what Excel will be used for at the Practice
Accreditation (Nurses and Social Workers):
This activity has been submitted to Northeast Multi-State Division (ME-MSD) for approval to award contact hours. NE-MSD is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation; and to the Rhode Island Chapter of National Association of Social Workers for CEU’s.
