This is the 10th annual candle lighting sponsored by the Sacramento-Placer County Chapter of the BP/USA. Our local children will be remembered during this very beautiful and touching memorial service. Family and friends are welcome. Our theme this year is "Wings of Hope."

Is there a charge to attend this event?
There is no charge to attend this event, however donations are received with gratitude to help defray costs. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and depend upon donations from people who care. Donations can be made at www.sspcc.org, and a donation basket will be available at the event.
We will have a Limited Edition 2016 Event Candle available in exchange for a donation at the Candle Lighting, as well as beautiful hand made greeting cards. Suggested donation will vary.
Photo buttons can be ordered in advance for $2 each, and magnets of your child's slide from the slide show can be ordered for $3 each.
Who is invited to attend the Candle Lighting?
This event is open to bereaved parents, their families and friends in our community. It is very meaningful when others come to provide support to those who have lost a child.
Is child care provided during the Candle Lighting
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide care for young children or babies during this event.
What are my parking options getting to the event?
Parking is plentiful and free, located directly in front of the building.
When you register, we will ask you for some important information that we will need for our printed program and the slide show tribute to our children. It's important to provide your email address and phone number in case we need to reach you for clarification of any information.
Photos for the Slide Show
We are preparing a beautiful slide show tribute to our children. It's important that you email up to 3 photoes in high pixel jpg format as soon as possible to CandleLighting2016@gmail.com. The latest we can accept photos for the slide show is December 7.
Many hours are invested in creating a very beautiful tribute, so it's important that you send us your photos as quickly as possible.
What can I bring to the event?
Please bring a framed photo of your child to display at the front of the auditorium. A nice size is 8"x10".
You are encouraged to bring your child's favorite holiday finger food to share during our refreshment time.

Can I update my registration information?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
There is no need to bring your printed ticket with you.
