Featuring family-friendly group rides, the event donates registration fees directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. With one in every eight women in the US getting breast cancer in her lifetime, most people have a close friend or family member affected by the disease. The goal of the Trek Women Breast Cancer Awareness Ride is not only to raise funds for breast cancer research, but unite local communities in the effort to raise awareness of the importance of breast health in a fun, supportive environment.
Why we ride…
We ride for our Mothers, Daughters, Sisters, Aunts, and our best friends. We ride for people we know and for people we don't. We ride to raise money for research and to find a cure. For the 6th year, Trek Women proudly supports The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. All proceeds from the ride go directly to this worthy cause.
This year we will also be offering Electric Assist Bike rentals for $10. These bikes are designed to deliver a new dimension in recreational riding as well as commuting. Expand your horizons and do distances you may have not thought were possible with the new electric assist line of bikes. With the pedal assist boost accompanied by comfortable and accomadating geometry all you need to worry about is enjoying the ride. Hills? Headwind? NO PROBLEM!
