Enter a team in Bacon Bash Texas 2016! The bacon steaks are higher than ever, as our expected total payout is $10,000!
Compete against over 40 other teams to see who makes the best bacon dish in the land! Here are the basics: Pederson's Natural Farms gives you 15 pounds of bacon, and you make whatever you want, as long as it's got that bacon in it. All teams are judged around 3:00 p.m. Top ten teams make it to our Final Table Judging, which happens live, on the main stage around 6:00 p.m. Cash payouts for top five teams, and the top, non-placing backyard chef!
Cook off entry fee is $200, but Pederson's will give eac hteam $400 back at the event if they: come out to compete (don't drop out) and get 10 friends to buy Bacon Bash tickets with the team's unique promo code. That will help reimburse you for your entry fee AND cover some of your expenses for groceries, fuel, lodging, etc.

Bacon Bash Texas is a 501c3 organization. Proceeds from the event benefit children with Type 1 Diabetes and a Cranfills Gap local organization that provides blankets, coats, and other winter gear to homeless across Texas. The event has really grown into a fun, foodie event that raises money for children with Type 1 Diabetes and Niki Warms the Cold. Over the last five years, we've been able to donate over $75,000 to our supported charities!
Bacon Bash Texas was born in 2012 as an avenue for Pederson’s Natural Farms to raise money and awareness for two causes close to the heart of their community. Pederson’s Natural Farms has been a great corporate citizen in the community where they produce 2.75 million pounds of bacon annually, and thus, Bacon Bash Texas has grown substantially each year. Due to the event’s rapid growth, Pederson’s Natural Farms has transitioned Bacon Bash Texas from an event to a non-profit organization. Pederson’s Natural Farms is very involved in the charity as members of the Bacon Bash Texas’ Board of Directors, as well as supply volunteers for the event; donate over 750 pounds of bacon for the cook-off; and give the winning team a big shout out by featuring their recipe and bio on the back over over 45,000 packages of their bacon, distributed nationwide.
Bacon Bash Texas is brought to you by this great group of folks. This would not be possible without your support!
