This year there will be no funding for the conference for hotel rooms or travel. The conference will cost $50 for current Arizona Terrorism Liaison Officers. This will include the conference, lunch on both days and other items related to the conference.


Speakers:

Bob Dougherty

Bob Dougherty worked for 25 years as an undercover Operations Officer for the CIA. He has deep operational experience in the U.S., Europe, Central America, South America and the Middle East. Bob has successfully worked against foreign terrorist groups such as Al-Qaida, Hezbollah, Sendero Luminoso, Tupac Amaru Revolutionary

Movement, the Japanese Red Army, the Palestine Liberation Organization, and the various Sunni extremist groups that are offshoots of Al-Qaida. In addition, Bob has extensive experience in working against Iranian State Sponsored Terrorism, and Government of Iran Intelligence and Procurement operations worldwide. Bob has served as a Subject Matter Expert Instructor on Terrorism and Countering Terrorist Cells inside the U.S. and overseas for a variety of classes attended by law enforcement, U.S. Government federal officers, U.S. Military officers, and civilian specialist first-responders. Bob has personally developed, managed and carried out multiple high profile operations during his career that lead to the capture of several high profile terrorists, and the effective dismantling of terrorist networks.

Ashour Ebrahim, J.D.

14 years as a Federal Law Enforcement Agent and Supervisor in Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence and Civil Rights matters. Extensive experience working jointly and facilitating cooperation with: CIA, DoD, NSA, DOS, ICE, DHS, USAO, foreign intelligence and law enforcement services and state and local agencies including LAPD, LASD and CHP. Led Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence and Civil Rights investigations, debriefings, interrogations, interviews and criminal investigations. Certified FBI undercover operative. First-hand knowledge of extremist groups with in-depth experience with Middle Eastern cultures and mind sets. Extensive overseas travel on joint and unilateral operations. Instructed state and local officials as well as private sector on Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence and Civil Rights matters consisting of Color of Law, Hate Crimes and Human Trafficking. Tenured Professor of Criminal Justice and Homeland Security studies.

All persons attending the conference must wear an issued ID badge at all times.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is plenty of parking on site and there is a shuttle from the hotel to the conference center.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No, you can change the participant until the conference but once the conference starts there is no changing.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes ;pg back into the site with your ticket for more information

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No we will have your information on file, but you must have a photo id.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be given minus a $8 service fee until May 20. After May 20th no refunds will be given.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

No names and photo identification must match as all attendes will be vetted prior to the conference due to the nature of the topics.
