Starting July 1, 2016, all new Recognized Student Organizations are required to attend an in-person orientation. During this orientation we will chat about what an RSO needs to know to get started, important policies and procedures, funding, event requests, and may other things that will help your RSO be successful. This orientation must be completed within 60 days of the approval of your RSO agreement to be in full good standing. At least one member of your organization must be able to attend this orientation session. Any organization that does not complete this within 60 days will be moved to warning status and will not be able to have the benefits of an RSO.
This training will also meet the annual organization training requirement for organizations to remain in good standing with the University and the Center for Student Involvement.
The New RSO Orientation will take place once a month on the following dates
- January 24 5:00-6:30 Hellems 201
- Februrary 22 6:00-7:30 Hellems 211
- March 22 6:00-7:30 Hellems 211
