Action Indoor Sports 2016/17 Winter Indoor Soccer season will officially start the weekend of December 2nd. Age categories are U-8 (under 8), U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, and U18. Girls and boys divisions will be formed with the exception of U10 and U8 which may be co-ed depending on number of teams and players. The season will last until the 2nd weekend of February with an end of season tournament to be held in most divisions. Scheduled Play dates are as follows: 12/3, 12/10, 12/17, 01/7, 1/14, 1/21, 2/4, and 2/11. Costs for teams and players will vary depending on age group. U8 will play 4 vs 4 and costs are $40 per player or $250 per team. U10 will be 5 vs. 5 ($50 per player or $300 per team). U12 is $55 per player or $325 per team. U14 through U18 is $60 per player or $350 per team. Game times will be Friday and Saturday evenings for the older age groups (U14+). U10 and U12 groups will play Saturday mornings/afternoon, U8 age group will play on Tuesday evenings.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Age categories are based on TSSA mandated age guidelines which has changed this year to "Calendar Year". ID will only be required if age is questioned by staff or another coach then a birth certificate or other valid ID will need to be provided proving Date of Birth. Players may play "Up" (older division) with permission from parents and the Action Indoor league coordinators. Also note that there is a $2 charge for spectators to enter the indoor complex. Players and coaches are free.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
We do not allow outside food and beverage. Players will be allowed to bring personal coolers or bottled water for themselves. Light snacks will also be allowed (apples, oranges, etc...)
All players will be required to wear shin-guards. Players under the age of 10 will be allowed to wear thier cleats however we do prefer that they wear tennis shoes, indoor soccer shoes, or turf shoes.
