This year marks LADV’s 10th year of providing education, training, and cultural competency to its members and the community in its annual conference. The Conference will be held on October 14, 2016 at Fellowship Dallas Church. A light breakfast, lunch, and CEU’s are included.
During the course of the day, workshops will offer an in depth look at a wide variety of issues affecting the community in which we live and work. The goal of the conference is to ensure that attendees leave with a better understanding of how to serve our diverse population. Latinos against Domestic Violence also strives to provide information to the community at large about the many differences and strengths within the Latino community thus providing a deeper understanding and appreciation. Workshops will include: Immigration, litigation strategies for advocates, LGBTQ community, cultural and language considerations when working with Latinos, and more.

Registration and breakfast begin at 7:30 am and the conference will begin promptly at 8:15 am.
Transportation: We're located at 9330 North Central Expressway (75231) on the northeast corner of the intersection of Park Lane and Central Expressway.
The DART Rail station at Park Lane (Red and Orange Line) is also within easy walking distance, just to the northwest. Look for us behind Bed, Bath and Beyond, or Best Buy/Office Max - depending on which direction you're arriving from.

LADV promotes the elimination of domestic violence in the Latino community through educational outreach and the encouragement of personal development toward self-sufficiency and self-confidence.
