Energy Efficiency in Buildings Workshop
This year’s Summit will include a concurrent workshop on energy efficiency in buildings. This 2.5 hour workshop will include two panels, the first discussing building energy efficiency standards enforcement and compliance and the second focused on green building rating systems for the commercial sector in California. The workshop will attempt to answer questions like “how do we meet GHG emissions and energy efficiency goals for 2020 and beyond?” and “why do you need to report on building rating systems?" Speakers will highlight Pacific Gas & Electric Company’s incentives available to comply with code, the implementation of AB 758 from a California Energy Commission perspective, case studies on zero net energy (ZNE), LEED systems and much more.
Registration Fee: $20 (includes ticket to Energy and Sustainability Summit reception); **Note: if you have registered to attend the Energy and Sustainability Summit, you do NOT need to purchase a separate ticket to attend the workshop. It is included in your registration.**
