Description
The Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic—created in 1973 by David Walker, an NYPD Community Affairs Officer in the 25th Precinct. The Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic was designed as a community event focused on racing and children’s cycling safety.
Each year the race draws 400+ United States Cycling (USA Cycling) licensed cyclist from the Greater NYC Area, Nationally and the World.
This EVENTBRITE registration is for the community events--Kids (mini) sprints, Grade School, Middle School and High School divisions. (based upon entrants--seperate divisions for boys and girls)
All division entries are limited to $10.00 in order to cover nominal cost (i.e. insurance, etc.) Limited amount of scholarships (i.e. free entries) are available for each division. Please email us at unitysports@aol.com for more information.
FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
The event will host from age six (6) to age seventeen (17) in the Kids, Grade School, Middle School and High School events. All divisions will be Boys/Girls--with each group being scored separately. Participants eighteen (18) years and over will race in the USA Cycling Open/Cat 5 division.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
All participants must bring their own bike, bicycle helmet and wear proper athletic clothing.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
No. Registration is good for the 2015 race only.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes--You can update at any time up to 48 before race day.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event
Yes--please bring printed ticket to event.
What is the refund policy?
Unfortunately (due to the preparations), no refunds.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Due to insurance purposes, we need both the registration and the ticket to match.
