Each year, the GeoGebra Institute of Ohio hosts a free two-day conference for mathematics students, classroom teachers, and university researchers.
The conference supports the use of open-source software (namely, GeoGebra) in the teaching and learning of mathematics at all levels, K-16. The Summer 2013 meeting attracted over 500 students, teachers, and researchers from throughout the United States. The mission of the conference is to provide high-quality, low-cost (free) professional development to those interested in using GeoGebra to teach and learn mathematics. Conference and lodging details are available at our official conference Google Site (https://sites.google.com/site/ggbmidwest2015/)
