Super Hero Evidence: Does Your Literature Have the Strength to Support Your Practice Change?

 This event will provide an overview of evidence-based practice with a focus on establishing the worth of a study through the critical appraisal process. Engaging in this process will assist the clinician in identifying the level and quality grade of each study leading to the strength of a body of evidence. The body of evidence guides clinicians’ in developing best practices for improving overall outcomes for patients, families, and staff within the healthcare system.

Nurses interested in improving their ability to critically appraise research/non-research evidenc and determine its' relevance to the clinical question.

Two Repeating Sessions

The three articles you are being asked to review will provide you with familiarity of critical appraisal and will enhance your participation at the symposium.
