Event Details

The Chicago Tribune and the Union League Club of Chicago’s Library Committee and Authors Group invite you and your fellow readers to this special reception and luncheon kicking-off the 2014 Printers Row Lit Fest!

Enjoy exclusive access to and conversation with 30 established and rising stars of the literary world as we celebrate Printers Row Lit Fest weekend!

The Kick-off begins at 11:00 a.m. (registration opens at 10:30 a.m.) with authors and book lovers mingling over cocktails and coffee to discuss their latest works and to sign books.  Authors will join attendees at their tables for the luncheon service, which begins at 12:00 p.m.  The luncheon program follows, hosted by Chicago Tribune writer Rick Kogan.  Additional time will be available after the program to continue your discussions with our featured authors and for them to sign your books.

The Book Stall at Chestnut Court will have the authors’ books available for purchase at the event.  For your convenience a signature/cash bar will be available. The cost is $45 per person.

Please note that the Union League Club has a Business Casual dress code; denim, t-shirts, and athletic wear are prohibited.
