2014 Presidents Day Event: “41” Film Screening
Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (CST)
College Station, TX
The first documentary to tell George Herbert Walker Bush’s story in his own words, “41” is a rare, intimate glimpse at the life and times of the 41st President of the United States.
Featuring unprecedented access to President Bush as he reflects on the highs and lows of his life, this film deftly weaves personal photos, black and white family films, news and archival footage. Hailed as one of the most experienced politicians ever to achieve the presidency, George Bush shares anecdotes from his childhood, family, service in World War II and political career.
Writer and film director Jeffrey Roth will introduce the film and discuss what it was like spending that much time with a former president. DVD sale, signing and reception will follow.
The event is free, but seating is limited and reservations are highly recommended. For more information call (979) 691-4014 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
