The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Office of Business Opportunity & Equity Compliance and our road construction stakeholders, cordially invite you to participate in our annual “Partnering for Employment Workshop: Navigating the Road to Compliance.”
This workshop was created by Wisconsin's road construction industry partners to clarify the labor compliance expectations and resources for Wisconsin's highway contractors. The workshop provides valuable information, resources and materials for building and building and retaining a construction workforce ready for federal contracting. Participants will learn about contract requirements, compliance expectations and Wisconsin’s best practices and resources. It is an opportunity for face-time with federal and state compliance officers and networking with other Wisconsin contractors.
- US Department of Labor will give current examples of "unintentional discrimination" and explain how to avoid the pitfalls that come with it.
- Prime contractors will share practical advice on successful federal and state contract compliance.
- Equal Rights Officers' will explain contractor responsibilities for payrolls and contractor accountability from the compliance perspective of the project managers and leadership.
- Federal Compliance officials will explain labor compliance regulations and explain the compliance review process.
Please note that registration includes only one workshop.
