2014 Jazzy Holiday Gala
Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (EST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Please join us for the Jazzy Holiday Gala, celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Gantt Center. Jazzy Holiday is the Gantt Center's largest annual fundraiser and is one of the longest running traditions in Charlotte. Proceeds from this event benefit the Gantt Center Annual Fund which enables the Center to provide programming to present, preserve and celebrate the arts, history and culture of African-Americans and those of African descent.
This year, our traditional luncheon will become an evening gala to celebrate the Gantt Center's 40th Anniversary year. Don’t miss an evening to remember as we present the 2014 Spirit of the Center Awards to three recipients who have made tremendous contributions to the Gantt Center and the broader Charlotte community:
Johnson C. Smith University - Charlotte's premier independent urban University
Hugh McColl - lengendary banker, civic leader, and arts patron
Deborah Willis, Ph.D. - acclaimed artist, author, and scholar
Early birds may purchase seats to the gala in advance. Individual tickets are $125 through July 31, 2014. Secure your seat at this year's awards gala. If you prefer to purchase tickets by phone, please contact Kris Cole at (704) 547-3781.
Corporate and table sponsorships are available. For information about sponsorships or group accommodations, please contact the Development Office at (704) 547-3781.
