Certified 5K course (AL08004JD) on the USA campus. The 3/4 mile Fun Run course loops the Intramural Fields.
Early Packet Pick-up and Late Registration:
Early packet pickup and late registration at Thompson Engineering, 2970 Cottage Hill Rd., Friday, March 7 11am – 1pm.
Race day registration and packet pick-up:
At the SGA Pavilion starting at 6:30 AM on Saturday, March 8, 2014
Parking is available at the lot next to the SGA Pavilion and at designated spots on campus. (See map below.)
Participants registered by Friday, February 14 will receive a Funky Monkey 5K moisture-wicking t-shirt sized for men or women. Cotton t-shirts in unisex sizing will be available on race day while supplies last.
Top three male and female Overall, top male and female Masters, Grandmasters and Senior Grandmasters. Top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-99.
Special Activities and Awards:
Take on the Funky Monkey Charity Challenge! The charity with the largest participation receives a $1,000 grant from the Thompson Holdings Foundation! It’s easy to participate. Just write the name of the charity* you’re representing on your Funky Monkey 5K registration form. Then recruit more of your friends to join your Charity Challenge team! Charity Challenge participants must pre-register by March 6, 2014 Charity Challenge choice must be designated at time of regiestration and cannot be changed.
Hang out at the Funky Monkey Finish Party and enjoy Mobile's Biggest Banana Split by Cammie's Old Dutch Ice Cream Shoppe, PB&J, bananas, beer and more!
