Website Administrator | City of Sacramento
As the new Website Administrator for the City of Sacramento, Natasha has spent the past seven months overseeing the development and implementation of the City’s hosted and 3rd-party web applications. She currently leads the City’s website redesign process, which includes front-end design, web marketing, staff training and documentation, project management, implementation of accessibility standards, content editing, and applying best practices with new and emerging web technologies. Natasha designed her first website in 1992 and has been managing websites for the past 10 years.
Media and Communication Specialist | City of Sacramento
Maurice Chaney is a media and communications specialist with the City of Sacramento and is charged with managing, implementing and developing public relations programs that effectively inform, educate and engage residents and businesses. Maurice has been with the City for more than six years and has been involved in high level media relations efforts, produced award-winning marketing programs, and is active in social media and online public engagement strategies. Mr. Chaney has more than 11 years of communication and public relations experience in both the public and private sectors. Prior to working at the City of Sacramento, Chaney was a communication and media officer for the County of Sacramento where he worked on public information, outreach and behavior change campaigns. He also worked at Jones and Stokes (now ICF International) for nearly three years as a community affairs specialist and worked primarily on local and statewide public involvement programs.Chaney received his Bachelors of Arts degree in communication from the University of California at Davis.
Deputy Spokesperson, Digital Communications | San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA)
Kristen has worked for the City and County of San Francisco (CCSF) for more than 14 years, including seven years as a Public Relations Officer for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), a department of CCSF responsible for the management of all ground transportation in the city, including the operation of the Municipal Railway (Muni), the nation's seventh largest public transit system. Currently she serves as the SFMTA's Deputy Spokesperson, Digital Communications. She has an MA in Communications from American University.
Manager of Public Affairs | Yolo County
Beth has spent the last seven years serving as the County of Yolo’s Public Information Officer. Four years ago, she added on the responsibility of overseeing the Clerk of the Board’s office; a strong nexus to the world of public information as the office of record for the actions of the Board of Supervisors. Beth is responsible for all communication with the media, the county’s internal and external websites, and the countywide social media program. If it ever rains in California again, Beth can be seen as pictured here in the summer months on Yolo County’s Cache Creek. Y.O.L.O.!

Steve Ressler is the Founder and President of GovLoop.com, the “Knowledge Network for Government” which connects and fosters collaboration among over 100,000+ members of the government community. On GovLoop, members use social media such as blogs, videos, and forums to discuss best practices and share ideas on improving government.
Steve is a 3rd generation public sector leader and spent 6 years in roles at Social Security Administration, Department of Education, Department of Homeland Security Inspector General, and DHS Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. He has won the 2010 GovTech Top 25 Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers Award, the 2007 and 2009 Federal 100 Award, and the 2009 AFCEA Bethesda Social Media Award. Additionally, he has been featured in many publications and conferences including the Washington Post, Harvard Kennedy School, World Economic Forum, Wall Street Journal, Fox News, Huffington Post, among others.
Steve is also the co-founder of Young Government Leaders (YGL), a professional organization of over 2,000 government employees across the U.S. He is a Master's graduate from the University of Pennsylvania where he received the Department of Homeland Security Fellowship. When not in D.C., he spends his time with his wife, his son, and two cats in Tampa, Florida.
