What time does the dine-in serving line close?
The serving line closes at 7:00 PM.
When can I pick up my Take-Out Order?
The drive-through Take-Out-Only pick-up is located across the street from the Church Annex from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes, only the purchaser of a ticket or in the case of multiple tickets on an order will appear on the printed ticket(s). Just bring a printed ticket for each attendee and we will check you in based on the contact information of the ticket purchaser.
How is the crab cooked?
The crab is cooked in a light amount of salt.

Yu-Ai Kai Japanese American Community Senior Service, a nonprofit senior center located in historic Japantown San Jose, is committed to serving seniors with an array of activities, programs, and services.
We offer a well-balanced senior day care program, a nutritious lunch service, social services, and a variety of classes, activities and trips for seniors, designed around our Healthy Aging Initiative.
Serving our seniors with Friendship & Love since 1974, Yu-Ai Kai currently serves 3,000+ seniors annually. While our roots are in Japanese / Japanese American culture and tradition, the programs and services are open to any senior in our community.
Yu-Ai Kai is celebrating 40 years of service in 2014. Come join us at the many events planned throughout the year.
Last Day to purchase Early Bird Dinner tickets is Friday January 31st. Prices increase $5 on February 1st.
Mike Inouye returns as Master of Ceremonies
Mike Inouye, Traffic Anchor for KNTV Channel 11 (NBC Bay Area) will be returning as MC for the 4th consecutive year. Mr. Inouye is also a professional improv comedian and has also been a voice over talent for games in Playstation and X-Box.
A performance by a group calling themselves Ukelele Jamboree! - students of Uncle Sachi of San Francisco, who promotes the preservation of traditional Hawaiian music and song. Performing will be Ron Myres, Les Wong, Erlinda Estrada, John Hogle, Joe Ho, and Rod Arii.
The ever popular Silent Auction returns again this year during the dine-in.
