On the day of the show, please be ready to provide your ID with your printed ticket at the admission gate. Names on the ticket must match the name on the ID name or the ticket purchaser. Times shown are in the Central Time.
What's the Act Schedule?
We can list our acts but cannot give a specific schedule. The schedule is finalized on the day of the show, and often changes during the day due to weather, winds, pilot considerations, transiting air traffic, safety, or maintenance reasons. Flying generally begins around noon and continues through the day. We are required to complete all flying no later than 5:00pm. More information may be found on our Schedule page.
What Happens if it Rains?
Unless the weather is severe, we will fly as much of the show as is safe and possible. FAA personnel constantly monitor the conditions and may request we halt or suspend the show at any time for safety considerations. In the event the show is canceled, your ticket price will be considered a tax-deductible contribution to an IRC 501(C)3 organization. Due to FAA permit restrictions and performer commitments, it is not possible for us to reschedule the show.
No Coolers, Large Totes, or Backpacks
The FAA and Department of Homeland Security require us to enforce theses rules for your safety. Remember you will be on airport grounds, and this is a rule common to all airports, and other major events in the U.S.
No Pets Allowed
You will be asked to leave if you bring a pet. Why? Our air show includes loud pyrotechnic displays. Frightened animals can hurt themselves and might break free and be struck by a performing aircraft, car, or become involved in some other type of accident on the grounds. For your pet's safety and our patrons, please leave your pets at home.
Where Does Your Ticket Money Go?
Hosting a large air show has a number of expenses. Warbirds and their high performance engines are extremely expensive to fly and maintain. Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships help pay these expenses. The Commemorative Air Force is a voluntary organization dedicated to restore, in flying condition, aircraft of previous wars in memorial to the brave men and women who bravely fought for our freedoms. The Commemorative Air Force is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization incorporated under Texas laws for charitable and educational purposes.
Since we are all volunteers, no members of the CAF profit from the air show. All money collected pays for expenses required to host the air show and to maintain these historic aircraft in flying condition.
We thank you for visiting our air show and we hope you appreciate the contributions of all those who have or who are currently serving to defend this great nation.
