2014 Bark For Life of San Antonio
Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (CDT)
San Antonio, TX
The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is a fundraising event honoring the life-long
contributions of our Canine Caregivers. It presents an opportunity for people to be
empowered through their canine companion partnerships and to contribute to cancer cures through the mission of the American Cancer Society. Canine companions demonstrate unconditional love, joy, security, compassion, and no judgments of cancer survivors abilities or appearances. The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is an irresistible way to partner with your canine best friend, smile, and make new friends – canine & human.
When & Where
American Cancer Society and Relay For Life
Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity that offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times during the event. Teams have fun while raising much-needed funds to fight cancer, and raise awareness of cancer prevention and treatment. Relay For Life brings together millions of people from all walks of life—friends, family, coworkers, caregivers—all with the common goal of eliminating cancer. No matter who you are there’s a place for you at Relay.
