Organizer

The ADOT Business Engagement and Compliance Office in partnership with Phoenix MBDA and AMCA invite you to attend a Statewide Conference for DBE’s, SBE’s, SBC's, Prime Contractors and Consultants at the Hilton El Conquistador Resort in Tucson, AZ.

The ADOT Business Engagement and Compliance Office (BECO) DBE Supportive Services Program is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing programs and services that increase DBE's organizational and business self-suffiency.

The mission of BECO is to facilitate access and equal opportunity for disadvantaged business enterprises to participate in federal transportation projects and promote a diverse workforce within the transportation industry.

The Phoenix MBDA Business Center, funded by the Minority Business Development Agency, has been locally operated by the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years. The Center strives to create a generation of minority-owned business enterprises (MBEs) generating $100 million in annual revenues focusing on maximizing job creation and global competitiveness for minority-owned businesses; fostering innovation and entrepreneurship with minority-owned businesses in high-growth industries. In just the last two years, the Center facilitated $360 million in transactions, helped create 160 new jobs, and retain 230 jobs.

By 2020, with push for global expansion and exponential growth, we envision that Arizona MBEs will strategically pursue larger goals and wider horizons. Our goal is for parity, at which the number of MBEs should exceed 140,000, generate $49.9 billion in gross receipts and employ over 365,000. This would require a 40% growth in number of MBEs, 85% growth in gross receipts and 80% in employees.

Our Mission is to: Foster the growth, expansion, & competitiveness of minority business enterprises (MBEs) by assuring access to credit, capital, markets, and consultation (Business & Professional) collateral, and other resources.

The Associated Minority Contractors of America (AMCA) was developed to serve as advocates to minority-owned businesses.  Our Mission is to: Be the principal association in Arizona representing and advocating on behalf of all minority and women-owned contractors.  Our Vision is to: Build strong partnerships and alliances between primes and minority and women-owned businesses to increase contracting opportunities.  This is accomplished through Advocacy, Education and Training, Conduit of Opportunities and Enduring Contractor Relationships and Ethics.
