2013 TESA Pitch Competition

We invite you to join us to witness what happens when you take away the props and the lemonade stand to allow teens to create real business solutions for real problems.
For the 2013 Teen Entrepreneur Summer Academy, 39 High School students will spend one week developing a new business concept to address problems facing downtown Grand Rapids. Friday, 10 student teams will pitch their solution in front of community stakeholders for a chance to win $1000 in cash prizes.
The competition begins at 2:00pm in the Multipurpose Room of the new L. William Seidman Building. Light refreshments will be provided.
Participating students represnt 24 Michigan High Schools and 1 Maryland High School: Academy Of Design & Construction, Caledonia High School, Central High School, City High Middle, Coldwater High School, Crestwood Middle School, East Grand Rapids High School, Forest Hills Eastern High School, Forest Hills Northern High School, Grand Rapids Christian High School, Grand River Prep High School, Grandville High School, Kelloggsville High School, Kenowa Hills High School, Lee High School, Old Mill North High School, Ottawa Hills High School, Our Lady of Consolation, Rockford High School, Tecumseh High School, Thurston High School, Union High School, Wells Spring Prep, West Bloomfield High School, and West Catholic High School.
