Use this form for winery registration only.  There will be a separate name badge order form to sign up who will be pouring at your table at a later date.   We will inform you when this is goes "live".

Event Details

Over the past 16 years, wine trade and consumers have responded enthusiastically to our tastings in San Francisco at Fort Mason Center.  We are changing to a Saturday and Sunday format after consultation with other events about the best times for consumer attendance, and assessing several years of trade attendance trends.  Last year there were over 2,500 trade that attended along with 606 consumers.  The focus this year is to build the consumer and the wine trade attendance. 

Your registration will not be confirmed until payment of the registration fee and 2013 membership dues are received and your certificate of insurance is on file (it is the responsibility of the winery to get the insurance information to us).  Wineries with pending registrations (i.e. registration form has been received but payment of fee and/or dues have not) will not be listed on our invitation or on our web site. 

Registration Fee:  $625.00 (two-day fee;  you may elect to pour both or individual days) To pay for the registration fee go to  Log in with your user name and password then go to the Tasting Registration tab.  Click on Step 2, Pay for Registration which will take you to the shopping cart.

2013 Membership Dues:  Dues are based on case sales from your last complete fiscal year or joint dues schedule.  From our Members Only page, click on Renew Membership, update your information, scroll to the bottom and submit the form.

Dues and registration fee may be paid together.  After submitting this form, and if you are paying by credit card, you can return to the Family Winemakers website and select the Tastings Registration tab to pay. If you have not paid your dues, now is the time to do so.  Click on Renew Membership next, fill out the form and click Shopping Cart button on the invoice page to complete your transaction.  To pay by check, make payable to Family Winemakers of California and mail to:  PLEASE NOTE CHANGE

Monday, June 3, to be listed on the invitation.

Monday, July 1, to be listed in the Tasting Book.  FWC membership dues, tasting registration fee and Certificate of Insurance are due.  FWC reserves the right to cancel registrations for non-compliance.

Cancellation/Refund policy:  Cancel by July 1:  Full refund.  Cancel by July 8: 75% refund, Cancel by July 18: 50% refund.  Cancel by July 26: 35% refund.  After July 26: No refund.

License Requirements:  Due to FWC sponsored legislation, California holders of Type 17 and Type 20 licenses or holders of a Type 85 license are allowed to participate in this tasting.

Participation Requirements:  Family Winemakers requires that every participating winery staff its table for the stated length of time at all of the tasting events.  For the San Francisco Tasting this year the times are:  Saturday from 1:00pm - 6:00pm and on Sunday from 1:00pm - 5:00pm.

Registrant expressly grants the promoter and its licensees to use registrant's image or likeness in connection with any live or recorded transmission or reproduction of such event.

Family Winemakers of California

Our first tasting was held on November 12, 1991, in the Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco.  Family Winemakers had 71 member wineries back then, and 47 of them poured that night for about 350 members of the wine trade.  We've grown.  We have over 375 members today and many of them pour at one or all of our tastings: Bay Area, Del Mar and Pasadena.  We've grown, and so have our tastings, but some things haven't changed.  The wineries are just as dedicated as they were in 1991 to producing the finest wines they can, the winemakers are just as passionate about the right soil, the right grape, the right microclimate.  And Family Winemakers is just as committed to presenting our member wineries and their wines at tastings that showcase the breadth and depth of winemaking in our state.   Family Winemakers ... Great Wine a Family Tradition!
