NERC 2013 IS SOLD OUT!
Northeast Robotics Colloquium
After a very successful inaugural colloquium last year attended by over 150 participants from 21 universities and 16 companies and laboratories in the region, NERC is back in 2013! This year the colloquium will be held at Harvard University on Sunday October 6th.
The colloquium aims to bring together all robotics practitioners in the northeastern United States through an event that is simultaneously a research symposium, a job-fair, and a showcase for established and up-and-coming robotics companies. Ultimately, we hope to promote the kind of healthy and well-connected robotics community that will be essential in fueling the field's rapid growth in the coming decade.
More information on this year's event can be found here.
This year's invited speakers include:
- Prof. Rob Howe, founder BioRobotics Lab, Harvard
- Prof. John Leonard, Professor of Mechanical and Ocean Engineering, MIT
- Dr. Marc Raibert, founder Boston Dynamics Inc
- Prof. Conor Walsh, founder BioDesign Lab, Harvard
Registration is open to anyone interested in the future of robotics in the region. We look forward to seeing you at NERC 2013!
As a unique feature of this colloquium, we offer registrants the option to upload their CV or résumé, which will be visible to our event partners. The upload site can be found here, just drag and drop your CV and then come and meet representatives from some of the leading robotics companies in the region at NERC.
