MeckEd values the profession of teaching and seeks to incite similar enthusiasm across our community. Through Teachers of Excellence, MeckEd seeks to engage the community in honoring and thanking exceptional teachers working tirelessly each day for Charlotte-Mecklenburg students. We hope you will join us for an evening of celebrating 25 outstanding teachers.

After receiving nominations from CMS principals, honorees were selected based on a variety of criteria including, but not limited to, student academic growth, those who have mastered instructional best practices, and those who are leaders in their respective school communities.

The evening will feature a presentation of awards as well as expressions of gratitude for the diligent work of these outstanding educators.
