Join MAKE for its second annual Hardware Innovation Workshop.
MAKE turns its attention to the business of making. Designed for makers in business trying to figure out how to navigate the ecosystem--from fundraising to strategic partners to manufacturing options. This MAKE event also shines the spotlight on the most interesting and innovative tools and technology, platforms and projects, and devices and designs based on open hardware.
Wednesday is an all-star lineup with over 30 speakers representing leading entrepreneurs and thought leaders at the forefront of the maker movement. Investors, industrial designers, product development teams—anyone looking for insight into the early stage companies with the potential to change the global business landscape—should attend. The Hardware Innovation Workshop takes place at the College of San Mateo, Fine Arts Theatre and the surrounding Courtyards.
Parking:
Parking is complimentary for those attending the Hardware Innovation Workshop on Tuesday, May 14th and Wednesday, May 15th. Please park in the designation lots only. The College of San Mateo will not be ticketing in the designated lots. DaVinci lot is for load in/out only.
Designated Parking Lots:
Beethoven Lot (2 large lots)
Hillsdale Lot (2 large lots)
DaVinci Lot (Load in/out only)
Directions
Off Hwy-92:
Take West Hillsdale Blvd Exit. If coming from the West - take a left towards the College of San Mateo. If coming from the East - take a right towards the College of San Mateo. Pass the College of San Mateo main entrance sign at College Heights Drive, until you come to a stop sign. You may take a right here to enter the Beethoven Lots - or you may continue immediately beyond to enter an additional Beethoven Lot on the right, and Hillsdale Lot on the left.
Load-in and out:
Follow the directions above. Continue thru the stop sign at College of Sam Mateo Drive and Hillsdale Blvd - where it will curve to the right, turning into West Perimeter Road. Continue on this for a short distance, where you will see the DaVinci Lot on your right side. Pull into the fire lane to load in/out only, before promptly parking in the approved parking lots.
Registration:
The Hardware Innovation Workshop will take place in the Theatre Courtyard. Following the directional signage.
