Keynote Address: 

Using Science to Build Cost-Effective
Evidence-Based Interventions


At the conclusion of the lecture, participants will be able to describe:

  • The blueprint for translational research used for building science-driven evidence-based interventions
  • The design and findings to date of WEI, WE II, and PUPS
  • The essential components of Lifestyle Redesign® Intervention applied to older people and people with spinal cord injury



 The Linda Schuberth Lectureship series was established to honor and recognize Linda Schuberth’s excellence in clinical practice, education, and promotion of evidence-based practice.

Sponsored by the Department of Occupational Therapy at Kennedy Krieger Institute, the Linda Schuberth Occupational Therapy Lectureship was established in 2010 to honor and recognize Linda's excellence in clinical practice, education, community outreach, and research.  This lecture acknowledges Linda's 22 years of service at Kennedy Krieger, and her steadfast dedication to incorporating evidence-based practices in occupational therapy, both locally and nationwide.
