2013 LeMoyne-Owen College FOCUSS Idea Competition Sponsored by Cummins, Inc.
The presidios campus of LeMoyne-Owen College will be the site of the FOCUSS (Framework for Opportunity Convergence and the Utilization of Sustainable Solutions) Idea Competition, which will be held on 27 March 2013.
Created to stimulate constructive thought surrounding concepts of innovation and discovery, the FOCUSS Idea Competition provides students a unique opportunity to share and cultivate creative solutions to a sponsoring corporation. Competition will be open to all current LeMoyne-Owen College students. The corporate Sponsor of the competition is Cummins, Inc..

Platform for Idea Competition
Guided by the FOCUSS Areas of Concentration, students (with the optional assistance of associated LeMoyne-Owen College faculty advisor) will propose an idea that resolves the following problem statement submitted by Cummins, Inc.:
Given the opportunities of an international marketplace, how does a company with headquarters in the United States such as Cummins, Inc., maintain its platform of ethics in different countries with different values and continue to be profitable?
