The French-American Foundation is finishing up the second year of its Immigration Journalism Fellowship and Award program. This unique initiative, developed with the support of the Ford Foundation, draws focus on one of the most important political issues of our time by encouraging journalism that provides in-depth portrayals of immigration and its impact on the lives of people and communities across the globe.
This year, the Foundation has supported eight journalists in their efforts to produce groundbreaking work on a diverse range of topics pertaining to immigration and integration in several regions of the world. You can learn more about our 2013 Fellows here.
For the second year, we will honor two journalists who produced exceptional works in 2012 with the Foundation's Immigration Journalism Award. We invite you to our Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, November 13 at 6 PM. In addition to the presentation of awards, the event will feature keynote remarks by 2012 recipient Maria Hinojosa, a panel discussion featuring fellows and members of the international jury, and a cocktail reception.
Space is limited for this event, and a reservation is required. For more information, please contact Thibault Chareton at firstname.lastname@example.org or 646.588.6781.
