Baylis AthertonBaylis Atherton - Digital Strategist | Texas Office of the Governor

Baylis directs the online communications for the Office of the Governor for the State of Texas. He redesigned and redeveloped the Office's website, serving as strategist, project manager, information architect, UI expert, content director, marketer and more. He has an accomplished of "firsts" for the Governor's Office, including delivering the first multi-author publishing system for the website; establishing in-house multimedia capabilities; creating the Office's social media presence and brand (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, LinkedIn, Picasa, Flickr and Instagram); enabling user-based content sharing (AddThis); and bringing in web analytics and metrics reporting.

Jeremy NewmanJeremy Newman - Digital Strategist | Texas Office of the Governor

Jeremy Newman is the Web designer and developer for the Office of the Governor, building and maintaining Web sites for the office and its myriad divisions. He also gets to flex his creative muscles by crafting infographics and recording videos of the Governor’s press conferences and other appearances for the site. A branding enthusiast, he probably enjoys a good logo way more than the next guy. A native of Austin, Jeremy’s first job at the Governor’s Office was in 2002 with the Texas Film Commission, which promotes film and television production around Texas. He cut his design teeth as a Web designer for a small Internet banking company after receiving his BFA in Design from the University of Texas at Austin.

Brent KastnerBrent Kastner - Chief Technology Officer | GovDelivery

Brent ensures that the Product and Technology visions are closely aligned with the goals of the business with a key emphasis on flexibility, adaptability, speed-to-market, and growth. Brent leads the Service Strategy group within GovDelivery comprised of Product Management, Product Development, Technical Sales Engineering, and Architecture disciplines. Brent joined GovDelivery in May of 2007 as Director of Operations and oversaw massive growth in usage of the system. As GovDelivery's VP of Technology, Brent Kastner ensures that the Product and Technology visions are closely aligned with the goals of the business with a key emphasis on flexibility, adaptability, speed-to-market, and growth.
