New Provider Sex Offender Treatment Board
The adult new provider training for the TN Sex Offender Treatment Board is 2.5 days. The classes begin on Sunday at 2:00PM. These courses (2 on Sunday and A13, B13,C13, D13, E13, F13, G13) are required for anyone who wants to be on the approved provider list. Pre-registration is required.

GAL/ Parent Attorney Scholarships
Attorneys that work as parent attorneys or guardian ad litems and are members of the TN Bar can register for the conference at no cost with this ticket.

Child Abuse Prevention Grantee Scholarship
Each agency with a Child Abuse Prevention contract from the Children's Trust Fund in the Department of Children's Services may send one staff member to the conference at no charge. One person per agency. Your agency must be listed on the list provided by DCS to TNCAC.

DCS Employee Scholarship
Upon approval from Central Office, DCS employees can register for the conference at no cost. The scholarship only covers the cost of registration, $175.00. DCS employees must be on the approved attendee list provided to TNCAC by DCS. If you have questions about how to get on that list, contact Karen Jointer.

Law Enforcement Scholarship
Law Enforcement Officers that work on child sexual abuse cases in Tennessee can register for the conference at no cost. There are a limited number of scholarships. To apply for a scholarship, complete the registration form and TNCAC will confirm your scholarship in an email. Officers who register and fail to attend will be billed for their registration at $175.00 person.

2013 Connecting for Children's Justice Conference

November 24-26, 2013

 At the Sheraton Music City Hotel

in Nashville, TN

 

The 2013 Connecting for Children's Justice Conference is Tennessee's largest event focused on child maltreatment.  We are really excited about the diversity of speakers and topics offered this year. For more information about the conference- please visit our at www.tncac.org/ccj.

Please complete the registration form in its entirety.  You will receive a confirmation email when you successfully register.  Attendees may pay by check or credit card.   To pay by check click on "show other payment options" below the "order now" button.

***If paying by check, TNCAC will not recognize your registration until we receive payment.  We will send an additional email to the attendee when the payment is processed.

The Children's Advocacy Centers of Tennessee (CACTN) is a statewide membership organization dedicated to helping local communities respond to allegations of child abuse in ways that are effective and efficient – and put the needs of child victims first. CACTN provides training, support, technical assistance and leadership on a statewide level to local child advocacy centers and communities throughout Tennessee responding to reports of child abuse and neglect.
