What time does the dine-in serving line close?
The serving line closes at 7:00 PM.
When can I pick up my Take-Out Order?
The drive-through Take-Out-Only pick-up is located across the street from the Church Annex from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes, only the purchaser of a ticket or in the case of multiple tickets on an order will appear on the printed ticket(s). Just bring a printed ticket for each attendee and we will check you in based on the contact information of the ticket purchaser.
How is the crab cooked?
The crab is cooked in a light amount of salt.

Yu-Ai Kai Japanese American Community Senior Service, a nonprofit senior center located in historic Japantown San Jose, is committed to serving seniors with an array of activities, programs, and services.
We offer a well-balanced senior day care program, a nutritious lunch service, social services, and a variety of classes, activities and trips for seniors, designed around our Healthy Aging Initiative.
Serving our seniors with Friendship & Love since 1974, Yu-Ai Kai currently serves 3,000+ seniors annually. While our roots are in Japanese / Japanese American culture and tradition, the programs and services are open to any senior in our community.
Yu-Ai Kai is celebrating 40 years of service in 2014. Come join us at the many events planned throughout the year.

Take-Out Orders: The Drive-through Take-Out Only pick-up is located in the parking lot across the street from the Church Annex (look for signs) from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
The Dine-In serving line closes at 7:00 PM.
A limited number of temporary event parking spaces will be available in the middle of 5th Street between Taylor and Jackson St.
The always popular Silent Auction is back! Bid on items from your favorite Bay Area sports teams, electronic gear, handcrafted items, jewlrey, gift baskets, plants, and more.
Also, you can participate in the No Attendance Required Opportunity Drawing with first prize of $1,500 in cash and 12 other cash prizes will be drawn. Tickets may be purchased at Yu-Ai Kai or during the dinner.
This year's entertainment includes a performance by Dr. Ron Hirose, (aka the Singing Dentist).
Guitarist Curtis Allen will also be performing.
Once again, we are privileged to have South Bay native, Mike Inouye as our MC. Mike is NBC Bay Area's weekday morining traffic anchor in addition to being a performer as an improvisational comedian, as well as on-stage in roles with local theater companies, and voice-over roles in video games.
