Asia Institute - Crane House
Asia Institute – Crane House is a community resource that promotes understanding of Asian cultures and heritage through education, outreach and the arts. The organization offers dynamic programming and outreach for all ages and interests which include K-12 educational programs, strengthening the civic presence of the Asian communities within Louisville and providing opportunities to engage in Asian culture abroad. Through the generous support of corporate sponsors and members, AICH offers numerous programs, exhibits, workshops and language classes throughout the year and offers business-related services to the community. Crane House receives funds from the Kentucky Art Council through a Parntership grant. The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, provides operating support to Asia Institute – Crane House with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
