2013-14 FHLA LEAD Membership Campaign Spring Semester Registration
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
THIS IS ONLY FOR NEW MEMBERS WHO HAVE JOINED FHLA SINCE JUNE 2013!
The LEAD Membership Campaign is a program presented by Future Hosptility Leaders of America at Valencia College – West Campus (hereby known as FHLA). The program is designed to recruit new members for FHLA. The reward factor of the program allows current FHLA members who bring in new members to earn points for the Aspire Point Rewards Program. The points for this program assist members in qualifying to attend the International Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Show in New York or the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago. Any current FHLA member has the opportunity to bring in students that would like to volunteer even if those new members are not part of Valencia College Hospitality Program. Our goal is to educate and provide opportunities to all Valencia College students who have a vested interest in the hospitality industry.
In order for new members to participate in the LEAD Membership Campaign they must sign up through the designated forum setup by the FHLA Executive Board. The current forum is the FHLA Eventbrite registration site. Newly recruited members must register for the program through the Eventbrite site. During the registration, the new member must indicate the following information:
Current FHLA member who referred them
The events that they have volunteered for
Their primary campus
After completing the registration, the new member must then attend the Semester New Member Welcome Reception. The welcome reception is the final step for new FHLA members.
Future Hospitality Leaders of America at Valencia College
We all want to build our own legacy. We all hope to inspire someone else to be the best at what they do. Being a part of the hospitality industry allows us to serve others and showcase what we are good at. As a member of FHLA (Future Hospitality Leaders of America) we have the opportunity to not only impact the community here in Central Florida but to also network and establish connections with industry executives.
