2012 Upstate Emergency STEMI & Stroke Forum
Two sessions of the same event: November 5th and 6th, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Choose only one.
This program is designed for EMT’s, Paramedics, ED Nurses, ED Physicians, Cardiologist, Cath Lab Staff, Stroke / Neuro Unit Nurses and any provider who cares for Cardiac and Stroke patients.
This year’s forum will focus on:
- Initiating hypothermia treatment and protocols pre-hospital for the STEMI patient
- Case reviews for STEMI and Stroke
- Break-out sessions specific to EMS and ED Physicians/Staff
- Symptoms onset specific to age and gender
- 12 lead education
A light breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided.
Nursing, RT, and EMS CEU’s have been applied for.
Self Regional Healthcare is proud to host the 2012 Upstate Emergency STEMI and Stroke Forum, in collaboration with Greenville Hospital System, AnMed Health, Spartanburg Regional, Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, and Mission Lifeline. These hospitals represent the upstate STEMI Coordinator network, aiming to provide education to nursing and EMT’s on the care of STEMI and Stroke patients.
Registration is needed for one day only and is free of charge. Seats are available, but capacity is limited to 160.
