Student-Artists of New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) will be honored and recognized for their best examples of achievement, exceptional artistic growth, perseverance and accomplishment at the sixth annual President Honors Awards Ceremony, Wednesday-April 4, 7 PM, Freda Lupin Memorial Hall.


The following students were nominated by NOCCA faculty and selected by President/CEO Kyle Wedberg for this prestigious honor:

"These students are being recognized not just for their extraordinary talent, but for the growth, consistency, and desire they have demonstrated during their time at NOCCA,” states President/CEO Kyle Wedberg. “We are proud of the work and accomplishment of every NOCCA student, but these ten students have each shown something over and above that makes them deserving of this high level of recognition. We welcome the opportunity to join with our supporters, the families and friends of the honorees and our entire campus community to celebrate these incredible students." 


NOCCA, Louisiana’s arts conservatory for high school students, offers students from across the state tuition-free arts instruction in Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Media Arts: Filmmaking & Audio Production, Music, Theatre Arts, Visual Arts as well as the full-day school Academic Studio. Potential students should visit for more information and to apply for Summer and Fall sessions.
