Endangered Wild Medicinal Workshop

The Monadnock Localvores will host a Endangered Wild Medicinal Workshop with Katy Locke on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 2pm to 4pm in Keene, NH.

The workshop will begin with a slideshow presentation of the United Plant Savers (UpS - http://unitedplantsavers.org/) designated "At Risk" endangered wild medicinal plants of the U.S - many of which are native to eastern woodlands. Following this will be a discussion of the UpS Botanical Sanctuary Network and a tour of a recently designated UpS sanctuary garden.

This is an indoor/outdoor workshop and will be held rain or shine.

Presenter: Katy Locke, M.Ed. / PDC
Evolutionary Educator, Certified Permaculture Designer, Reiki Master and Plant Spirit Healing Practitioner, Katy Locke is the founder of Clear My Energy and a founding member of Transition Keene. Through her practice of energy medicine and earth-based community education, Katy is bringing forth her dream of a sustainable, just and fulfilling world.

Registration for this workshop is limited.  The sliding scale fee is $5-15; but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Workshop fees support Monadnock Localvore education and scholarship programs.

After registering you will receive a confirmation email with directions to the workshop.
