All Things Google (Classified Staff):   All Things Google (Classified Staff):  Learn from a local Google Certified Teacher the benefits of using Google to increase productivity and make work life more efficient. Topics covered: Google Drive, Google Forms, Google Calendar and some hidden surprises. Tons of great tips for everyone.
Google Sites for Beginners (Classroom Websites) Google Sites for Beginners:  Clovis Unified is moving from Quickplace to Google Sites for classroom websites.  Learn how to get started with one of Google's best communication tools, Google Sites. Learn how to get started, add content, and extend your classroom to the online realm.  Appropriate for non CUSD employee.
iPads for School Administrators iPads for School Administrators:  Kim Jacobsen of Sanger USD and Apple will demonstrate how their district is using iPads to gather information on walk throughs and evaluations.
Promethean Board - 301  (*Prerequisite - 101, 201 or Completion of Level 1 Online) Promethean Board - 301:  Step-by-step, hands-on instruction with examples, for the following and more: Exploring the Property Browser to manipulate an object (e.g., color, size, and translucency slider); Using the Action Browser to link documents, websites, and perform other various functions;  Integrating outside resources (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet) with ActivInspire ; Creating activities using containers, restrictors, and action objects;  Integrating sounds, videos, and images to create dynamic, thorough lessons.
Quia - Creating Interactive Activities Quia - Creating Interactive Activities:  Quia.com allows educators to create surveys, on-line quizzes, jeopardy games, flash cards, battleship games, and much more. Activities can be used in and out of the classroom to enhance learning.
TechEdutopia: Teaching and Learning the Common Core Way TechEdutopia: Teaching and Learning the Common Core Way:  Many teachers are wondering how to prepare students for the new assessments that are being adopted with the state approved common core standards. The bulk of this hands-on presentation willencompass an inquiry-based lesson demonstration of how eighth grade common core ELA speaking & listening standards and 8th grade math standards are met through the use of technology. The audience should leave with useful resources and a snapshot of how to integrate technology with the common core state standards.
Tyler Munis 9.3 (For CUSD employees only - Class will be held at the PDB Computer Lab) Tyler Munis 9.3: Sessions will focus on updated Tyler Munis software system.  With an overview of various financial activities of the software system.  Budget Overview, Financial Activities Overview, Requisiton Data Entry and Reporting Capabilities.

What’s New in SMART Notebook 11 & SMART Activity Builder What’s New in SMART Notebook 11 (Activity Builder):  Get acquainted with the new features of SMART Notebook 11.  This latest version has a new, easy to use contextual toolbar, embedded Internet browser, Activity Builder, and more!  Some of the most popular tools, such as the creative pen, magic pen, and tables, have been enhanced.  Once the new features have been introduced, we will spend some extra time on the Activity Builder, and teachers will be able to create customized matching activities!
