2012 Alt. Celebrate!
Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
On June 16, 2012, one of the longest Saturdays of the year, riders will ride up Mt Hamilton, Mt Tamalpais and Mt Diablo using Caltrain, Golden Gate Ferry, and BART to get between the three peaks. It's 128 miles and 12,000+ in elevation gain which we fully admit isn't for everyone. But the parks and transit the riders visit and use ARE for everyone.
Join us to:
- Celebrate the ride, the parks, the transit and how accessible and beautiful the Bay Area is
- Snap pictures, take video, and share your experience on altride.org and contribute to the online journal of the day
- Explore and learn about the Bay Area parks and the transit that connects us all from knowledgeable volunteers
- Enjoy surprises along the way that we can't tell you about (it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?)
Register today so we know you're coming. Then we can customize the surprises just for you.
Tickets for Caltrain, Golden Gate Ferry and BART are not included.
