FRIDAY NIGHT HOSTS

Nicole

Nicole Elikolani Prescovia Scherzinger was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is of Hawaiian, Filipina and Russian descent. She grew up in Kentucky and attended Wright State University majoring in theater arts and minoring in dance.

In 2001, Scherzinger was a contestant on the WB television show Popstars, where she won the role of lead singer of the all-girl pop group Eden's Crush. The group's first single, "Get Over Yourself," broke into the Billboard Top Ten. But when their label folded, Eden's Crush followed suit. Around the same time, the popular L.A. burlesque act the Pussycat Dolls were being recast and Scherzinger joined on as their lead singer in 2003. Scherzinger sang all of the vocals on the group's 2005 debut, PCD, along with being the only Doll to have songwriting credits on the album.

As the Pussycat Dolls' record went on to sell millions of copies, Scherzinger collaborated outside of the group with artists like Rihanna, Will Smith, and Belinda. Scherzinger’s first love is acting and her résumé already includes parts on the television shows My Wife and Kids and Las Vegas, as well as in movies Love Don't Cost a Thing and Chasing Papi.

Most recently she has released two very successful solo albums, graced the cover of countless magazines, won the 10th season of Dancing with the Stars and is co-hosting the TV shows The Sing Off and X Factor.
